Adaptive Facade Network – Final Booklet Series
The following booklets form one part of the final publication list of COST TU1403 and are carried out by the COST Action participants and their research institutions.
- Booklet 3.1 Case Studies – Adaptive Facade Network,
- Booklet 3.2 Building Performance Simulation and Characterization of Adaptive Facades – Adaptive Facade Network,
- Booklet 3.3 Dissemination, Future Research and Education – Adaptive Facade Network.
The booklets shall support practitioners, researchers and students who are interested in designing, researching, and integrating adaptive façade systems in buildings.
They target at both the academic and the not-academic sectors, and intend to contribute positively to an increased market penetration of adaptive façade systems, components and materials, aiming at rationalising energy and material resources while keeping a high standard of indoor environmental quality, health and safety in the built environment.
Booklet 3.1 “Case Studies – Adaptive Facade Network” concentrates on the definition and classification of adaptive facades by describing the
state-of-the-art of materials, components and systems for adaptive facades, as well as future trends for products and systems. It also provides information about a database that is published on COST TU 1403 website.
